Sample Workout Schedule: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Workout LA Fitness 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Belfield scrimmage and play 6:00 pm - 10:00 PM Abington skills and drills (every night) Leagues ( Sonny Hill, James Fox, Pro-Am, and Hank Gathers 21 and under) Saturday AAU and/or workouts Sunday 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Clinics and situational workouts 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Fitness bands and scrimmages
Workouts consist of skills and drills in the morning along with strength and agility. The single most important element in a player's development is the amount of attention paid to developing as a player. We spend four days a week in the weight room. Two times a week we focus on agility and plyometric work. There is always some type of conditioning taking place, but the other two days a week we focus on improving speed as well. Afternoon workouts involve scrimmages and game situations with other area prep schools, as well as other high school players. Night workouts are footwork and muscle memory style workouts. Nights also consist of league games and weight training such as band workouts. Weekends are designed for either AAU and/or travel league situations.
